The sweat and blood mixed together as it ran off his forehead. He had been fighting for hours. His body, and his mobile suit were barely holding up. He had very few options. To continue to fire his beam cannon until his suit totally gave out and blew up, or to self-destruct and take out almost every mobile doll around. Either way he was a dead man. , But that thought had yet to cross his mind. All he could think about was her. He saw her face, not the mobile dolls, but her long light-brown hair flowing with a light breeze. He saw her waiting for his return. He saw her sleeping, safe in her bed at home. Her…without him. Relena how could I leave you? Would you forgive me? If I could just touch you once more. If I could just hold you once more. If I could just talk with you once more. If I could just tell you how I feel once more. If I could just hug you once more. If I could just tell you how I feel, and mean it, once more. If I could just be with you once more…if I could just be with my angel once more, I would forever happy. And with that he pushed the self-destruct button. His last words were, "I hope I can be with you once more…someday. I hope I can be with my angel once more." Then came the explosion, and it was over.
Relena sat bolt right up in bed, "Heero…" she whispered into the night. She looked out her window and saw bright lights, and she had somewhat of and idea of what had happened. "Once more I will be with you…once more."
