Spike is standing around doing normal Spike-type things (such as teasing Faye) when an alarm goes off. Dashing into the storage room he is confronted with a very distraught looking Jet kneeling near an old refrigerator. Shocked and slightly in pain, Jet starts to sing:
"Right there, oh it bit me. Somewhere, something bit me. Right there, right here, not there, oh where, not here, not there, oh where, it's there, right theeere...something bit me."
Amused and slightly annoyed that Jet would be so upset over a simple bite, Spike leaves the scene.
Later...
Spike, now concerned over Jet's ailing health, is trying to find the creature that bit him. Faye stumbles into the room looking upset and afraid. Worried, she starts to sing:
"Back there something bit me. It's goin' to kill me. Back there, not here, I'm dead, oh fear, where's it?, not here, what's it?, don't know, back theeeere... something bit me."
Faye collapses in a swoon.
Still later...
Spike, after finding Ein with a bite and Ed missing, is now determined to find and stop the perpetrator of these random bites. Crawling through the ship he finds it -- a fast moving purple blob. After a battle in which the blob almost gets the better of Spike, the blob is toasted like so many marshmallows. Recognizing the scent of...toasted blob, Spike has a sudden realization. Shocked, and slightly embarrassed to realize that he's responsible for "the blob," Spike starts to sing:
"Oh no, it's my lobster. Oh great, my old lobster. Lobster, in fridge, a year, in fridge, forgot, in fridge, it bit, near fridge, the friiiiidge...with my old lobster."
Rushing back to the storage room, Spike confronts his past- er, wrong episode- confronts the fridge. Worried as to what he might find inside, he slowly opens the door. Shocked and completely disgusted at the monstrosity contained within, Spike slams the door shut and pushes the fridge out the airlock. But not before the blob bites him too. Relieved that the fridge is gone, but slightly annoyed that he was bitten, Spike starts to sing:
"Oh darn, that thing bit me. It's gone, but it bit me. It's gone, hold on, it's out, don't shout, it's gross, it's gone, I'm toast, look out, it's goooone...time to pass out."
And that's just what Spike does. He passes out and floats around the ship to the tune of "The Nutcracker Suite," which is probably being played by an orchestra of rats, as they are the only conscious beings on the ship right now.
The End.
