Sorry guys. I know tragedy usually isn't my thing but I was thinking about a story I read once, and it made me cry so hard, and just Inspired me to write this.. I don't know what is wrong with me.. usually my stuff is so upbeat and light hearted, I guess I just needed a break from it. [Sigh] here just read it an tell me if I am any good.

The Pearl was gone. Everything Jack Sparrow loved in this world was gone with her.
He woke up that morning and knew something wasn't right, he could feel it. But Captain Jack Sparrow was not a man to follow a bad feeling, that would be stooping down to Gibbs' level, and he DEFINATLY did not want the crew to see him as a superstitious fraidy cat.
So he ignored the feeling.
"The wind is callin hard today sir."
"Fantastic! MEN! Full sails! We will reach Port Royal by nightfall if we keep at this pace!"
The boy had been so excited to get back to his wife and newborn son. Will had a strong spirit, but in the end it didn't do him much good.
"The wind is calling hard today sir."
The damned wind. It had pulled them straight into a coral reef. A dangerous place for a mighty ship like the Pearl. It had ripped her hull to pieces. Within minutes the Pearl was sinking to her doom.
Jack shook his head like it would rid it of the images in his head. But they came still. Like a waterfall.
"Jack! We have to abandon ship!"
"NO! I will NOT lose the Pearl!"
Everyone had left him there, except for Will. He had stayed till the end. Until his end. The ship had jerked, bucked so suddenly that Will didn't have time to adjust. He was thrown into the anchor. He had looked up at Jack for a moment, as he gingerly touched the back of his head. He brought his hand back, covered in blood. Then he collapsed.
"My head"
Jack dragged his friend over to the remaining lifeboat, and gently set him down in it.
"Tell her I love her."
"No, you can"
Jack rowed away from the Pearl as it slipped below the water. All he concentrated on was rowing. The faster he rowed, the faster he could get Will help.
"Jack, I am tired."
"Keep your eyes open."
His eyes were glazed, Jack new he wasn't going to live much longer. He rowed harder.
"Goodbye Jack."
Jack closed his eyes but couldn't escape the picture. It would never leave him. The image of his friend, his brother, lying lifeless in front of him as he rowed.
All he could do was row.

Damn that made me cry.
As my muse put it..."Short, and horrifically tragic."
Sorry I guess I was just in that mood. I better go work on something funny to try and cheer myself up. Yea.
