Walking outside, the heat hit Tom and Mina like a wave. "My goodness," Tom whispered to himself as he handed over Mina's luggage to be placed on top of the carriage. The emerald green coloured doors on the carriage opened and Mina held up a bit of her gown to get in. "Allow me Miss. Harker," Tom said, offering his hand as he stood beside her. Mina gave a faint smile. "Dearest Sawyer, you're so innocent sometimes it's shocking," she said, taking his hand quickly as she hoped into the carriage.
Hours later, Tom and Mina were aboard the Nautilus, sitting around the table in the dining area with the rest of the league. "A distubance in the midst of Australia has called us all up for a mission. We will be on land, in the country in a few days from now," Nemo explained, pausing for effect every so often. "Brilliant, gives me the chance to use me Aussie accent," Skinner said, holding onto a small glass of whisky as though he was toasting to the occasion. The league by now had grown to ignore some of the idiotic things Skinner said to everyone so no one commented.
"Excuse me, but isn't there anything else we should all know?" Jekyll asked. Nemo nodded and cream coloured folders were distributed around the opal covered round table. "All you need to know is inside these," Nemo said very swiftly and walked off. "Very mysterious presentation of the information here Captain." Mina started to say as she flipped through her folder and looked up to see Nemo, but he was gone.
