A/N- My first song fic. I'm kinda takin a break from my other more serious
long piece. This is just a little focus moment.
Disclaimer- I don't own Star Trek or Jimmy Wayne (although he is kinda
cute)

The leaves rustled against cobblestone being pushed along by a northern
wind. Beverly pulled her wool coat around her, feeling the first nips of an
automated Caldos winter. She sat where she always did on a quaint wooden
bench on the side of the park. From her vantage point she could watch the
passerbys without their knowledge. She watched as an older couple walked
by and for the first time in a long time she didn't feel a twinge of
jealousy.
Baby, Baby
Stay, Stay right where you are
I like it this way
its good for my heart.
Things were finally beginning to look up. It had taken a long time and the
distance she placed between him and herself had helped. The hole in her
heart was mending, what she thought would never happen was happening. She
was moving on.

we both end up hurt
Love ain't supposed to be that way.
It had been about four years since the fears she harbored had affirmed
themselves. After a year of an intimate relationship with Jean-luc things
had gone sour. So sour that what had once been a friendship that she
called upon as a lifeline lost all hope of surviving. To many things were
in between them now and neither really had the strength to face each other.
I still love you
and I will forever
We can't hide the truth
We know each other better
They would live the rest of their days apart. Loving from afar. Some
things simply weren't meant to be and they both were beginning to accept
that. She hoped he would find someone and have the family he dreamed of
even if she were no longer in the plans.
I know everything's gonna be ok
if you just
Stay, Gone
From two different worlds, two people wished each other the best and
finished out their days with as much happiness as incomplete souls can
have. Only to meet again in a different time on a different world and
begin the dance of the unresolved again.
