Halloween.

A ficlet about Halloween. Sort of. It's an out-of-nowhere ficcie, I'm not really sure where it came from. I just know that I like holiday stories. :) And Draco/Pansy stories. Happy Halloween, everybody! RAWR.
"How DARE you! You bloody thief! You sodding savage, you stupid git, how on earth do you think that it's OKAY TO GO OUT AND-"
"PANSY!"
Pansy Parkinson burst into tears as Draco Malfoy screamed her name, with his wretched tongue, with his damned throat, with everything he had left inside of him...which couldn't be much.
Why did this always have to happen? Why was it that, every thirty-first of October, they got in the maddest row ever? Upon ever? Upon the ever before and the ever before that?
His hands were stroking her damp cheeks now, and he was whispering words madly that she couldn't comprehend, and she wouldn't even if they had been screamed into her ear just as her name just had.
"Pansy," he finally said, controlling his voice so that it only sounded a tiny bit gravelly.
"What?" she glared at him and wiped her last tears away. It always was like this. The tears splotching and ruining her costume, and then the anger.
He shrugged, "I didn't think that it would bother you..."
"You didn't THINK," she hissed, flicking away his pale hands, "You didn't THINK, Draco. Don't even bother to tell me the rest, the point is that you didn't think."
"When I took the amulet-"
"You took the amulet to hurt me. That's the only use of it. Why else would you need the bloody thing, it was totally useless, and you KNEW the only reason I still kept it was because of Benjamin-"
"Bloody Benjamin."
"Oh, please, Draco," she rolled her eyes, dazzling in azure eye paint, "Don't tell me that you're still being a prat about this."
"He's your ex boyfriend!"
"And you're my current one."
"Am I?"
She stared at him, and her eyes grew cold.
"I don't know," she turned away, raising a crisp eyebrow, "Are you? Are you, Draco?"
She heard him sigh, "Pansy, honestly. So I'm jealous of that stupid prat ex of yours. So what? Doesn't that show that I love you all the more?"
"No!" she yelled into the night, unafraid to let her frustrations be heard ever again, "It doesn't! It shows, Draco," she whipped around so they were nearly touching noses, "that you don't trust me."
He blinked and looked down, "No...it's just that you sometimes get....overly sentimental....don't take this the wrong way, Pansy, but whenever we fight..."
"It always ends up being about Benjamin."
"Right. And, if you were angry with me..."
"I'd never summon him back with it, Draco. And even if I wanted to, I can't. Remember? The spell to bring him here was only useful as a one-time thing. As soon as he went back, he was never coming back here again."
"Bloody git," Draco murmured, then stared into her eyes.
"Can this be the end of our Halloween fights, Panse?"
She rolled her eyes, "Don't we say this every year?"
"Yes."
"And don't we fight? Every year?"
"Yep."
The corner of her mouth twitched and she gave him a swift kiss on the cheek.
"Bloody git. Go get me candy."
He grinned at her and took her hand as they headed back to the Great Hall.
Until next year, she thought happily.
