"Shane?"

He closed his eyes.

"Shane?"

/"Dad I'm going to be released Tuesday anyway. I'll just release myself earlier."/

"Shane honey?"

/"No. You need to stay in the hospital. You were just in the car accident Monday. Don't worry we can rework it."/

"Baby? It's time to go."

/"But dad it's already been planned out. I can hobble to the hole and you can still do it."/

"Linda? Shane's not moving."

/"No. Just stay here. You could mess up your knee worse if I pushed you into the hole. We can do something else later. I'll be the one to go in the hole."/

"Shane Brandon McMahon can you here me?"

/"Shane something went wrong tonight. They couldn't get to your father fast enough. He died."/

"No!" Shane opened his eyes causing everyone at the gravesite to look at him. He buried his face in his hands and cried.
