This is the first part to my little Max mini-series. Most of these scenes are from V-Force. Actually, all will probably be from there. This is based after Rei lost Drigger, and he goes a little insane. Yes, I know it's short! It's supposed to be, but if you like Max you should enjoy it. Hopefully.

The words echoed in my head and I couldn't help but slightly lower my eyes...

"Rei!"

"No Max, let him go."

Rei...

Doesn't he remember? Doesn't he know that I do know what he feels like? Doesn't he know that he could talk to me? I'm always cast aside by everybody, first by my mom and now my own teammate. Draciel has been taken away from me so many times, yet I still went on. Still fought for what I believed in, you should to...you should to.

You know, or I hope you know, that we all believe in you. We all know that you can make it through. So, please Rei don't give up on your self. Drigger will come back, and it will take all of us. Not just you, you can count on us, on me. I will always be by your side, I thought you knew that.

But even so, I will still work hard, just to see you smile.

I grabbed my blade and placed it on the launcher.
