I'm Sorry
Isabel Night

As I stand outside watching the sunrise,
I feel the wind toy with the Sakura petals, falling from their trees.
I hear the sound of lamenting,
A deep sound of sorrow being carried by the breeze.
I turn towards the sound,
Near a golden colored lake,
Only to find three familiar faces,
Kneeling on the ground.
I know without looking,
They have found my empty shell.
Cale holds my body tightly,
Does he think it will bring me back?
Dais' hand slowly reaches towards my face,
I see the tears spilling out of his eye.
I see Sekhmet's hand clench into a fist,
I can also see the pain written on his face.
I'm sorry I had put you through this,
But it was the only way.
I'm sorry it had to end this way,
But it had to be done.
I wish I could enter my body,
And wake up in your arms.
But it's not how it works
I'm sorry; I wish I could come back to the life I once had.
