Chapter 1: Memories from the past
"hey!...uh who are you?" said a girl who almost fell on the island's ground by a guy about 18 or 19 years old who bumped into her, when the guy saw her face he almost colapsed "k-kairi..is that you?" he said with a bit of a studder, the girl looked surprized she wondered how he knew her name, he did look some what furmiliour to her "oh im sorry..um where im i?" the guy said getting out of his trance but still looking at her, "what? ..your on destiny islands!" kairi said
the guy smiled happily the island looked a bit different and fallen apart a bit but it was his home he hasnt been back in 3 years, he fiqured that she had to be who he thought it was..."im riku.." he finally said, kairi shot up to look at him scanning his face trying to remember and to beleive if it was true..her long lost best freind riku who she hasnt seen in over 3 years was finally back, she was 14 at the time and he was 15, kairi was now 17 years old ,
"riku..." kairi said, she had eyes full of tears dropping one by one and her eyes were filling more and more, "come here" riku said holding out his arms kairi walked towards him as riku put his arms around her tightly into an hug that could last forever.

a boy about 17 years old was walking along with a duck named donald and a some-what dog named goofy, the boy was named sora, the trio had no idea what to do, it seemed to them it was useless to try anything else.. 'why did I make that promise to her?,im never going to return to destiny islands, three years.three years ago I made that promise..' sora thought, he moved his head up towards the night sky remembering back then.

Kairi gives sora a keychain with a star on it.
Kairi: Take this, It's my lucky charm, Be sure to give it back to me
Sora: Don't worry, I will
Kairi: Promise?
Sora: Promise
Kairi: Don't ever forget, Wherever you go, I'm always with you

sora pulled out an keychain out of his jacket, the same one kairi gave him back then, as sora gazed at it he remembered the promise he made her as they got separated when the worlds returned,

Sora: Kairi!
Kairi: Sora!
Sora: Kairi, remember what you said before? I'm always with you, I'll come back to you!
Kairi: I know you will..

'hmph..i was just some weak child, sure I beaten ansem the seeker of darkness, and killed a few heartless but I was still weak.. weak for girls, well.. one beautiful girl, Kairi..i wish I could of told her my feelings for her..'
"hey sora, snap out of it!" "huh...?" sora said as he took his gaze of the keychain and looked down at Donald, "you've been standing there and I been trying to get you to move sora!!" "oh..sorry Donald, it's just." sora said "just what sora?" goofy asked, sora put kairi's keychain back in his pocket and then he continued to walk slowly "it's nothing, forget it guys, lets go its getting late" "go where?" Donald asked, as he followed sora,
"hey, wait up for me" goofy yelled to them and ran to catch up, "to the traverse town's hotal" sora said "but we only have 25 munny, and it cost about 150 munny to spend one night" Donald said sighing, "oh right..everything is useless." sora said as he leaned on the hotal wall outside near the door, "ahh phooey!, pull yourself together sora! it's just a minor set back its going to be fine and someday you will be back home, got that?" Donald said "Donald is right, just think of the happy things sora" goofy said, sora sighed and smiled a little "I guess so" "say, is cid still in town?" sora added, "gawrsh, I think he still might be" goofy answered, "why? Whats up sora?" Donald asked, "come on guys, I just might have an idea" sora said as he started to head to cid's house, Donald and goofy followed along.
