Chloe glanced down at the ring on her finger and sighed. 'It just doesn't feel right.' She checked her reflection in the mirror once more, admiring the beauty of her flowing white gown, before making her way down the aisle and towards her fiancé. She smiled half heartedly up at him, but he was too happy to notice her lack of enthusiasm and beamed back.
She remembered the day her life had changed, the day Lex had been lowered into the ground, taken prematurely. With her love gone, she moved on and went with the second best. She became Mrs. Clark Kent.
