Saturday, three days before school was over seemed to be the day I actually figured that I was going to be free. Jeez, I never thought this day would come. Each day dragged along as I watched every other kid get what I never had, love. 18 and in high school and never a day has gone by that I have felt saddened by the thought of being alone, as I am now. Love was a thing I never associated with. Always in my life there wasn't anyone there to help me when I was down. There wasn't anyone. Alone, alone is what I am. Living alone. Ever since the death of my parents when I was only 10, my life was different. I was adopted by a couple who loved me dearly, until, one day, 8 years after they adopted me, my foster mother died, and my foster father blamed it on me. He left right after her funeral, thinking that I was a curse on his life. I never found out what happened to him, never cared really.
So I just went on with my life, going to school, didn't have any friends, just a bunch of jealous girls. I was pretty all right, but rumors spread once they found out my deepest secret. I was the daughter of the multimillionaire, Pegasus. Yea you probably think I am just some person, who thinks so, but it isn't right, but it was. I found out from a police officer who said that my "parents" that I had before my foster ones, weren't my biological parents, just my aunt and uncle. I was shocked at this, but after wards I asked the officer who was my real parents. He told me that my mother was a woman named Cecelia, but that she was already dead. But the one thing that astonished me the most was that my father was…the multimillionaire himself, Maximillion Pegasus.
The funny thing was though, was that he never knew that I existed, which I thought was a gift, since I didn't want any attention from the public. I told my best friend, and I told her not to tell anyone else, but she couldn't keep the secret. Word came out and every girl hated me and all the guys thought that I was just some snotty girl that they didn't want to mess with. I lived alone for the next couple of months, my best friend ditched me because all the popular girls thought that she was a curse too if she hanged out with me, so she left. I transferred myself to a different school, once I found out that some boy named Yugi Moto defeated Pegasus.
So I decided to check out this duelist and maybe get some information about my father from him. So I transferred to Domino High, I was able to find a very nice apartment, since my guardians were pretty rich. Today is the day that I go and meet my father's nemesis.
Daylight flooded into my room at the break of dawn, at this time I was already up and typing away at my computer. I was what you'd call a genius. I spent most of my time on my computer trying to come up with some way to improve satellites, since I was working at this very big company that researched about the satellites and how to make them process information faster. I spent years on this assignment, when I finally improved it. The first person that asked for one made for him was Pegasus. So I was here to arrange it, the other reason why I was here. I finally realized the time and got dressed. I drove my Acura RSX type S, red car to school. I was well paid so I had a lot of luxuries at my fingertips. I never really bothered with them though. The only thing I wanted wasn't buyable.
Anyways, once I got to school all of the students were on class, so I went to the front office to check in. This is where it all began. The end of my old life, and the beginning of a new one is how I start my story.
