Cloe closed her eyes b/c the light outside was really bright and cloe was more use to the dark. but cloe looked right into the son so that the rest of everything would look less bright b/c she was a smart girl and had a technique.
she looked next to her and her best friends sara with no h and raven.
the 3 of them had just gotten a gift of a book from raven's "cool aunt." her cool aunt always wore a lot of eyeliner and talked like they did a long time ago. she gave them the book, which was really just a notebook but the pages were filled and it was callde the "book of shadows." Ravens aunt explains that it was a book that she kept since she was their age (16) and that it explained what she was doing with her spitritual life. she was a witch!!!
and then the 3 girls look at one another in the daylight. none of them were comfortable thre. they new that they were bound for the darkness.
they bought a new notebook and sara with no h took a black pin and wrote "BOOK OF SHADOWS" across the front.
from that point, they were witches.
