The whole ordeal started about a year ago, you see
When me and my best friend Largo went down to E3
When we couldn't get inside, he felt great sadness within
He's an obsessive-compulsive gamer, he had to break in
We tried, we failed, we got kicked out the door
And so for revenge, he went and dropped his drawers
And so for safety, we both left the U.S.
I'm an otaku, so I thought Japan would be best

So I confess, yes, I admit, I'm an anime freak
I've got stack upon stack of games and manga that I keep
And all those bishoujo games and manga are my favorites
That's how me and my good friend Tsubasa met
We were just going to crash there for a couple days
'Til we get enough money to get on a plane
But here we are, 2 months and we're still here
Guess that's what you get for spending your cash on anime and beer

Everything has gone downhill since Tsubasa moved away
We got no food, no cash, no contacts and no place to stay
About a week after his departure, we struck it big you know
I got a job, a place to stay and met a bunch of folk

There's the girl that Largo thinks is a zombie queen
And our new roommate, a PS2 accessory
