'Horse...Tiger...Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu' [1]
My fingers move towards my mouth as I begin to exhale, a large fireball shooting forward at a small bush which is my intended target. As the jutsu wears off my hand moves back down and my breathing returns to normal, my eyes watching the burning bush ahead of me.
I've always been memorized by fire. It can be one of the most deadly elements to control, yet I have access to it. For that reason people believe I'm some sort of prodigy, all because I can control something other children my age could only dream of doing.
They know so little about me.
My feet move my body closer to the flames until I can feel the intense heat they're giving off. I reach my hand out as if to touch the fire, but my hand strays only mere inches away as it always does.
Would the village look this beautiful up in flames?
I flinch slightly and pull my hand away as I feel the fire burn my hand a bit. My previous thoughts erased from my mind for the moment. I quickly look behind myself to make sure I'm still alone, no one needs to see my weakness...
or is it insanity?
My eyes harden as I look back at the fire and notice that it's finally going out with no damage done. I realize I'll have to bandage my hand tomorrow while coming up with some excuse as to how I got the wound. I stop for a moment and close my eyes, my voice sounding loud throughout the clearing as I speak,
"One day it will all burn."
