Kagome's Bag
Inu-yasha snarled in irritation. Kagome was once again late, and Inu-yasha was missing her terribly. Inu-yasha paused in his pacing when he caught a familiar scent coming from the well. It was the illustrious scent of Kagome. She was back. Inu-yasha quickly looked down the well, preparing himself for the bright smile that always accompanied the girl who made his heart light. Instead, his face was greeted with the one other thing Kagome never parted with. Her large bag. Inu-yasha fell back with a loud grunt as he was hit by the immensely heavy pack. By the time he had thrown the bag off of himself and stood up, Kagome was standing next to the well staring at Inu-yasha with bright cheerful eyes.
"Sorry Inu-yasha. Are you hurt?" She said innocently, although her eyes showed how truly amused she was.
Inu-yasha hid the joy he was feeling at hearing her voice, with an icy glare as he growled, "Feh! It'll take more than some human's pack to put me out of commission." although he said this rather haughtily, he was starting to feel pain around his chest... "This thing is heavy. What do you put in it?!" Inu-yasha complained bitterly as he hoisted the now dusty pack onto his shoulders.
Kagome sat on the edge of the well and grabbed the pack from him. She opened it up and reached inside saying in a cheerful tone, "I'll show you." Inu-yasha sat down and watched as she pulled out Ramen after Ramen after Ramen... and so on. Inu-yasha growled happily as he counted 21 Ramen in all. Kagome then pulled out a couple of those large and heavy things Kagome called "Textbooks". Inu-yasha listened as she explained everything she pulled out. "...And I have Green Tea for the few calm nights we get, and a bathing suit for when we find hot springs, and a picture of my family, and my sleeping bag, and some extra blankets, and chips and candy for Shippo. I could have sworn I brought more... And, hmmm what's this?
Inu-yasha stared at the item she pulled out. It was... "Ewww, a banana peel!" Kagome shrieked as she threw it on the ground. Kagome reached in and pulled out a long stick with a glittery star glued on the end. "Eh?" Kagome threw it behind her back.
Presently, a girl in outlandish clothes runs up and grabs it yelling, "Yay! I've been looking for this." and runs off. Kagome stares on in confusion before shaking her head and returning her attention to the pack.
Kagome reaches in and pulls out...a rabbit. (ooops, that isn't supposed to be there. I bet some guy doing a magic trick is missing it right now...)The rabbit disappears in a puff a smoke. Kagome raises her eyebrows in questioning put quickly decides to forget about it. Kagome reached in and pulled out a sticky chocolate covered hand! "Ahhhh! It's thing from the Addams Family!" Kagome screamed, jumping into Inu-yasha's arms.
Inu-yasha drops her and walks over to the bag. "Stupid Wench." Inu-yasha said angrily as he pulled out a very sticky and very full Shippo.
"Hehe. Hiya Kagome." Shippo greeted innocently.
"Shippo you naughty cub, you scared me half to death. And just WHAT were you doing in there?" Kagome's eyes narrowed as she looked at the evidence all over her face.
Shippo fidgeted nervously then reached into the bag. "Ummmm, here ya go Kagome."
Kagome's anger faded as Shippo handed her a bouquet of lovely wildflowers. "Awww Shippo." Kagome hugged him tightly and then packs everything back into her bag. She swung it onto her shoulders, and still holding onto the messy Shippo, headed off towards the village.
"Lousy kiss up." Inu-yasha hissed as he stood up slowly and followed after Kagome. Shippo looked over Kagome's shoulder and stuck out his tongue.
