Author's notes: This was an English Assignment, I though I would post it, just to see if anyone else read BTST. It was a stupid book, had to read it for school! But yeah, if I get 3 reviews, ill post some more! Luv Aqua!
The most curious thing happened to Jadz and me today. We were on a scavhunt, trying to find something which could be useful for barter. We found a cylinder of Sunblock Supreme, but the bloody thing was empty, cept for an old magazine cover. God knows how that got in there! God knows how the Shaking Time came about, now there's a mystery I don't think anyone will every figure out!
Anyway, a dingy washed up on the shore today and you would never guess what was inside it, a body, a HUMAN body! He looked dead as so I went to get a closer look. Then, he sprang to life, just like he came back from the dead or something. He was muttering all this crazy nonsense about trading with the devil and that Jadz and I were one of them? The drifter got closer to Jadz so I had to defend her, I was not going to let another person I cared about leave me forever, like my mother did.
I was going to wack the drifter with a bit of floatgarb, but then he just….fell down. He was definitely dead this time around. Well, I thought I handled the situation pretty well. Try telling that my so called Father Eddie, who, ever since the Shaking Time, has not let me join the Militia.
If there is one thing that would make me happy in life, is to be a member of Fort Necessity's Militia. Eddie thinks I'm too "slight: for militia training. Me? Slight? I don't think so!
I wish Eddie would give up the over protective father thing. I'm 18 for crying out loud, I'm old enough to make my own choices. Eddie has been teaching primary children for too long if you ask me. No one would guess that Eddie and I were father and daughter, we have such different ideals.
