Disclaimer: Hi! It is the return of Kash the Dragon Queen! I have finally
found a good idea that I have pondered awhile. And I finally found a reason
to write it, I'm fickin' bored! Well, I don't own anything, So basically
I'm poor.
You know the drill:
'.' is thinking "." is talking ~~~ is another time or place or if I can't find any dialogue

It was one of those usual nights. Kagome had left for a week. A frickin' week! That was all that was on his mind. Plus, no one was around. Miroku, Sango, and Shippo were out to visit some kin folk. (To let you know, that means family) And they wouldn't be back until Kagome was. So, plain and simple, Inu-Yasha was bored out of his wits.
'Why did she have to? And for a week. I don't even know how long that is! Why couldn't she just stay for a little longer?' He thought, sitting in a tree. He was cold, for once, and the gnats were driving him crazy! ' Only one thing to do,' he told himself. 'find water and fast!'
Jumping down form the tree, he sprinted in the direction of a creek; the gnats in hot pursuit. When he reached it, the gnats left him alone. "Finally!" he blurted aloud. But maybe he shouldn't have done that. Form his out burst, a sudden splash sounded. Inu-Yasha jumped up, and looked around for the source of the noise. As he looked, his eyes found the source. But why was it moving so quickly?
"Oh shit," he cursed, and saw that the thing was in the creek and flowing downstream. 'Can it swim?' he asked himself.
It gave a small yelp and started to bob under and on top of the water. Then it gave a fearful look at Inu-Yasha as it went under again. But this time it didn't come back up.
'Oh shit!' He thought once again, and jumped into the water. "Damn it! I didn't know that it was this deep!" he thought, doing his best to keep himself on top of the water. As he looked on, the small head bobbed back up, but it swept down the river, motionless.
'Obviously it can't swim. But how am I going to reach it? Much less get out of this river?!' Suddenly, the current got rough, and tried to pull him under. He kept himself on top, but barely. Starting to move forward more quickly, he swam towards to small head, that was slowly sinking to its death.
"Damn it!" he gasped, doing his best to fill his lungs with air, instead of water. In a few minutes, he was within two inches of the small figure. Its body was almost underneath the water when he grabbed it, pulling it to the surface.
'I've got it! Know to get to shore!' However, his thoughts were interrupted when a sudden shock hit him.
'What's that sound?' he asked himself. But his question was answered, when he caught a glimpse of what was in front of him. A water fall.
