A glimmer of hope,
The spark of love,
An excited smile on my face.

A feeling that i can't leave,
All a relentless drive,
One that i can't ignore.

Why should i give my heart to you?
For you to crush it again?
Can you really hate me that much?

"I hate you"
Three simple words,
And my heart shatters like crystal.

An ache od pain,
throbbing in my heart,
My body retching from the tears.

A warm involuntary tear,
Ran down my cheek,
Leaving a wet trail.

I made no effort to brush it away.

I stood there,
Arms to my side,
Feet planted to the ground.

My eyes glaring,
Into those green orbs,
Lost in their beauty.

I faint voice,
Bringing me back to reality,
It said "leave."

A look of confusion,
Crossed my features.
Why?

Why were you being like this?
Why are you pushing me away?
Why won't you let me in?

Your my best friend.
The person i trust the most.
The one I care for.

The person I've given....
