The Matrix: Reverberations
Disclaimer: I did not create the Matrix. However. It is a

(an Agent once bit my sister. It's true. She was carving
her initials in the side of the Agent with...)
(we apologize for the fault in the disclaimer and would
like to notify the reader that those responsible have been
sacked.)
(mind you Agent bites can be very painful...)

-Part 1-
"Smith, relax," Neo told him, as he reached into the former Agent's swollen abdomen. "I know what I'm doing. I've done this before, when Trinity was badly hurt."
"That was a bullet," Smith gritted is teeth against the pain as another contraction hit, the Mainframe once again using a model that simply did not apply in the absence of a more appropriate one in order to work out how Smith's body was supposed to respond to what should have been an impossible situation. "This is a baby. It is considerably larger." He emitted a growl of pain, and glared at Neo.
"If it hurts so much," Neo asked as he carefully located the baby and began to ease it out through Smith's abdomen, just above his navel, "why not simply erase the pain. You still can, can't you?"
"I want to experience every sensation that goes along with having your baby," Smith managed to puff out between contractions as he felt the baby's feet pass through his abdominal wall, followed by the umbilical chord.
"It's a boy," Neo announced, proudly, as he handed the newborn child to the former Agent.
Smith gazed at the newborn half-Agent with wonder in his eyes.
"It's amazing how being a parent can alter a person's perceptions." he told Neo.
