Nightmare

I sit alone in darkness, searching.
Not yet knowing what I'm searching for.
Surrounded by a sea of complete oblivion,
That stretches on for all eternity.
Paralyzed by this solitude.
Conquering, devouring and constantly consuming.
My heart my soul, drowned in this emptiness.
Drowned in this nightmare.
Screaming, fighting, compelled to break free.
No will or power.I've lost my self-control.
Thrown about and beaten down
It would seem,
That the beast is rising within this dream.
Piece by piece I'm losing my sanity,
Temporarily pacifying the beast within.
Fighting.screaming..falling,
I have nothing left to give, nothing left.to lose.
I fall, lost within
My awakening is here
Rising from the abyss
I see a tragedy
I wake, alone in darkness, searching.
