Draco Malfoy stood, waiting rather impatiently. The Shrieking Shack had never really been his favourite part of Hogsmeade but it was definently the most hidden place.

His cold gray eyes surveyed the other students milling around Hogsmeade, in search of a certain redhead. He only hoped she would show up, that she wouldn't just ignore his pleas.

"Make it quick Malfoy," came a voice, a second later Ginny Weasley seemed to appear out of nowhere. Draco's jaw dropped.

"It's an invisibility cloak, are you confused? I don't exactly want people knowing I'm meeting you here." She said, rolling her eyes. This time it was her turn to look impatient.

"Ginny...oh um, I'm glad you came. I need to speak with you." Draco sputtered, still in a sort of shock.

"Yes, Malfoy, I am aware of that. Now speak before someone sees me with you."

Draco took a deep breath, stepping toward the small redheaded girl. She would hex him six ways from Sunday for what he was about to do, but he needed to do it.

He moved quickly, wrapping his arms around her slim waist, pulling her close to him. In one smooth motion he kissed her softly, his pale lips brushing eagerly on her red lips. He felt his knees weaken, electric currents searing through his body.

Ginny planted her hands firmly on his chest, forcing him off of her.

Draco stepped back, breathing heavily. "I-I'm sorry, Ginny." He stuttered for the second time that afternoon. "I-I think I l-love you."

There, he had said it. Suddenly he felt rather dizzy, so he sat down on the cold ground quickly. Ginny stared for a minute, trying to regain her senses.

She sat down on her knees in front of him.

"What did you say?" she demanded, her chocolate brown eyes staring, watching closely.

Draco looked at her, trying to keep his emotions under lock and key. He reached up, brushing a strand of her hair off her cheek. "I said, I love you Ginny Weasley." That time he had not stuttered and that surprised him.

"No, no Draco, you don't. You can't. It's not right." Ginny said. "You know I love Harry."

Draco's eyes blurred with tears. "No, you can't. He's no good for you. Ginny, I need you."

"No, Ginny is mine. All mine." The redhead stood.

Draco recoiled, the voice coming out of the girls mouth was not her. "What the hell?!"

It took a second, but Draco knew. Suddenly Ginny Weasley was no long Ginny Weasley. Her features were changing. It was nothing more than Polyjuice potion.

There, standing in front of Draco was not Ginny, but Harry Potter.

"You'll pay Malfoy. D'you think she'd not show me your letter? D'you think I'm stupid? Ginny is my girlfriend and she loves me. She'd never leave me for you, Malfoy." The words spewed from Harry's mouth, his voice raising as he spoke.

Draco prepared himself for a beating that never came. Harry grabbed his invisibility cloaked, tucking it over his arm. He walked down the path from the Shrieking Shack, Draco's eyes followed him.

Standing by a tall tree, watching Harry walk towards her was the real Ginny Weasley, smiling widely at Harry. She smirked at Malfoy, hate filling her brown eyes. She kissed Harry, then he took her hand.

Not so much as a second glance back at Draco, who had not moved, Ginny and Harry headed back towards Hogsmeade.
