Disclaimer: I do not own Charmed, though I wish that I did.....

A/N: really, I was just bored when I wrote this, feel free to flame.

Sry if Prue is out of character, but I haven't seen her heard anything from her in like two years......

Prue and Paige.

Paige woke with a start. She glanced at the clock, 12:01.

I never wake this early, she silently thought. What the hell woke me up?

Then she heard the noise again. There was a clicking on the ceiling that sounded a lot like heels. Someone's in the attic, she thought as she grabbed her bath robe and slippers.

She shot up the steps and stopped outside the door, opening it a crack. She gasped at what she saw.

She had never met Prue, never talked to her, but of course she had seen pictures, and if Paige didn't know any better, she would think that Prue was in the attic.

Paige jumped into the attic, grabbing a dagger and pointing it at the woman. "Who are you and what do you want?" She demanded.

The woman smiled. "I think that you know very well who I am."

"I know who you want me to think you are," said Paige, "oh and by the way, I know that you are not her."

'Prue' smiled again. "Paige, I'm so glad to finally be able to talk to you, in person."

"Oh stop trying to be all lovey dovey, you can not fool me!"

Prue sighed, exasperated. "Ask me something that only Prue would know then."

"I never knew Prue! How could I do that!"

"Something only a sister would know."

Paige was hesitant then asked. "How did mom die?"

Prue's voice broke when she answered. "She was drowned by a water demon."

"You really could be a demon and no that."

Prue walked over and touched Paige's arm, "what is your heart telling you?"

Paige jumped forward and embraced her, but she quickly stepped back.

"You must think that I'm insane," Paige said with a little laugh. "You don't even know me, I'll go get Piper and Phoebe."

"No," Prue said almost immediately. "I can only be here for a little while, and I came to talk to you."

"Me?"

"When I was watching the three of you I noticed something," Prue started, "you feel left out, unwanted."

"No, I know that...."

"That they love you, yes, but you almost seem to think that they would rather have me there."

Paige bit her lip and nodded.

This time Prue stepped forward and hugged her. "You mean just as much to them as I ever would or did, if not more. You just started fighting and you are so strong, and so brave..... without you they would be lost."

Tears rimmed Paige's eyes as Prue stepped back. "I love you too Paige, and I want you to take care of them."
