Title: My first night with you
Luke woke up and thought back to the last night; the night that changed his life. The night he never thought would ever come. The night when he and Lorelai shared their long awaited first kiss.
It was Friday around 9:30 when the bell jingled above the door. Luke knew it was her, she always came at this time just when he was about to close, except something was different about tonight. There was something different in her eyes tonight. She sat down at the counter and didn't say anything.
"Is everything okay Lorelai?" Luke asked concerned
"Oh.. Yeah, I just zoned out a minute there." She said
"Well would you like some coffee? You look like you could use it."
"Yeah that would be great thanks."
Luke poured her a cup of coffee and went to the kitchen and came back with a piece of pie.
"Thank you, you don't know how much I need this." She said
"Well your welcome. Is there anything you want to talk about?" Luke asked
"I just realized that I am 33 and I have yet to find "The One".
"The One, what do you mean?" Luke asked "You know the one person who you tell everything to, the one person who knows everything about you and still loves you. The one you know will never leave no matter what you do to hurt them. Haven't you ever found that before?"
"Well I'm still alone so I guess not."
"Well don't you ever want it, I mean seriously your good looking, your successful, don't you ever want to settle down and have a family, have someone to share your life with?"
"Yeah I want all that but sometimes it just slips away and you can't have it. I thought I had that with Rachel and then she left. So, as you can see life doesn't always turn out the way you want it to. Sometimes you have to let go and let your heart lead you instead of you leading your heart."
"Do you really mean what you just said?" Lorelai asked
'Yes, I wouldn't have said it if I didn't mean it."
"Good."
And with that said Lorelai grabbed like and pulled him in for their first kiss. At first Luke was shocked but he eventually loosened up and kissed Lorelai back. It felt like they were both in heaven, they didn't ant to separate but they had to.
"Wow that was amazing." Luke said as he stared into Lorelai's eyes
"Yeah that was wonderful. But I have to go."
And with that she was gone.
Luke finished cleaning up, went upstairs and dreamt about Lorelai and there kiss all night.
