Battle at Kakariko
On one hot summer day, the land of Hyrule was in peril. The great war of Oni raged on from ZoraÕs Domain, to the Gerudo Fortress. Hyrule Castle had been burnt, attacked, and iced. But Oni, the great warrior, protected the castle. One day, Oni left the castle, to accompany the King of Hyrule to Death Mountain.
The KingÕs Carraige went to Kakariko Village, where the Shiekah, restocked their supplies and let them rest for the day. Oni, restless to fight as he was always, went out that night to see the town. The town of Kakariko at that time was a dark village, the ShiekahÕs were not very friendly people. The town was full of dark shacks. The windmill hadnÕt run for a millenium. Oni went out to the windmill. Jumping from side to side every now and then to avoid a Shiekah. The Shiekah just seemed to walk through eachother.
Oni got to the windmill and went inside. He saw only one Shiekah though.
ÒThe windmill, it hasnÕt run for ages,Ó the mysterious Shiekah said.
ÒWhat? Why are you telling me this? I already knew this. I am the KingÕs greatest warrior,Ó Oni said cockily.
The Shiekah got up off of itÕs knees and said, ÒYou know nothing. You can only see what your eyes tell you. The world has many secrets that you are unaware of.Ó
The Shiekah then threw a Deku Nut and vanished before OniÕs eyes. As Oni turned to leave, a Stalfos appeared. Oni had fought many Stalfos in his past so he thought no different of it. He pulled out his sword and killed it.
Oni turned to leave the windmill and go to the inn when the Stalfos, reappeared? Then a second Stalfos appeared. He cut both of them easily and exited the windmill. But when he left four Stalfos appeared. He disspatched of them easily. But once again the number of them doubled until Oni was hit by one of the Stalfos. Oni slashed to his left, killed one Stalfos, stabbed the next one, did a backstab, kicked ones face and killed them, and then killed the same one that he had killed minutes ago.
Before Oni knew it, he was facing 500 Stalfos!
ÒKing!Ó yelled Oni, ÒWe must leave now! Before the Stalfos take over!Ó
The King came out of the inn and saw the immense amount of Stalfos. Oni guided him through the pack of Stalfos killing thousands of them. When they were on theyÕre way to Death Mountain they were followed by 5,000 Stalfos. Oni wasnÕt sure what to do. Slashing these Stalfos resulted in there being more Stalfos. Then he remembered what the Shiekah had told him. Secrets that he is unaware of.
He heard no footsteps... just the KingÕs while he was being frantic about the attack. He heard another pair of footsteps. He looked, he saw only one Stalfos now. He drew his sword. Both he and the Stalfos reached to stab eachother, and both hit. The Stalfos lay dead on the ground. His hand glowed and when he looked at it, he saw, the Triforce of Wisdom was on his hand. ÔNow, I am aware of everything,Õ Oni thought. Oni promptly passed out after he defeated the last Stalfos. The King, carried him up Death Mountain.
