Terri: Okay. Here's a one-shot. It was the original beginning for "Hiei
goes to school" but was deemed by people to be too serious. So, it's very
random and I thought it was very kawaii. Maybe I'll put it in my other
fic.the one with no title.*sulks* that's depressing. Anyway, here ya go!
R&R!! oh yea.YAOI!!

Simple Bliss
Kurama ducked into an alley to avoid his usual "fan club" and noticed a familiar ki. He glanced up at the roof of the building next to him and smiled. A second later, Hiei was next to him and they began to walk together, no real destination in mind. "Why do you put up with those ningens, Kurama? You could easily get rid of them." Kurama chuckled. "You know as well as I do that that would be wrong." They had made it to the park. "Hn." Hiei leapt into a nearby tree to rest on its branches. "Hiei. Why don't you stay down here and talk? Why do you always go into the trees?" "Simple. Privacy, shelter, and concealment. Besides, if you want to talk, come up here." Kurama smiled at the tone of Hiei's voice. Was Hiei actually teasing him? This was a rare moment indeed. Kurama jumped into the branches, but being in his human form, didn't make it as high as Hiei and had to jump again from the branch he had landed on. Before Kurama got to Hiei's branch, Hiei had leapt to another branch, this time in a different tree. A smirk crossed Hiei's face as Kurama stood on the branch, a slight confused look on his face. Kurama couldn't believe it. Hiei was teasing him. Ok. Kurama turned youko and began to leap to Hiei's branch. Hiei's eyes got wide once Kurama had changed and he smiled slightly as he turned to jump to another tree. Youko caught up with Hiei and had almost caught him, but tripped on a wet branch. Hiei smirked and continued to jump between trees. He looked back to try and find the kitsune, but he was no where to be found. In an instant, Hiei was hanging upside down from the tree, a branch tied around his ankles.
The kitsune appeared in front of Hiei, smiling brilliantly. "You know you can't escape me, Hiei. I'll always get what I'm after eventually." Hiei raised an eyebrow at this. "Oh really?" The branch restraining Hiei was cut and the koorime took off once more. Kurama smiled again and continued the chase. Hiei's eyes got big as he seemed to fall out of the tree, but was once again upside down, this time held by many branches around his arms and legs, and a certain rose whip around his ankle. He smirked as the kitsune appeared before him again. "I thought I told you, Hiei. I'll always get what I'm after." With this, he placed a brief kiss on the koorime's lips and pulled away smiling. Keeping his smile, he turned and jumped to another tree. Hiei called after him, "Kitsune! Get back here!! Where are you going?!" Kurama had gone back to his human form and looked back at the koorime, smirking, "You can get out of that." Hiei was out of it in an instant, this time chasing the kitsune. He caught up with him, and pinning him to the tree, placed a kiss on his lips. "And you should know I always get what I'm after too." Kurama smiled and kissed Hiei again, this time deepening it. They eventually pulled back, a little short of breath. "What's gotten into you, Hiei?" "What? I'm just having some fun." Kurama smiled again; he hadn't smiled this much in a long time.
