Blind
Poem by clementia
In a world where good and evil collide
Where the clear line between Gryffindor and Slytherin is seldom crossed
Where the blood in your veins is the cause of divide
Where a muggle and pureblood affair is a battle already lost
In a world driven by pride and power
Where fiery insults cause a passionate hate to linger
Where Hogwarts Magic School causes intense rivalry to occur
Where scarlet and flaxen clash chaotically with emerald and silver
But when no one paid diligence nor heed
Two young students pushed all this aside
Engaged in a relationship which most would have envied
Breaking all the rules in which they were to abide
Suddenly the collision of good and evil was a forgotten battle
The clear line dividing Gryffindor and Slytherin was but a haze
No blood was any longer superior as all were equal
And the start of a muggle and pureblood affair was ablaze
Suddenly pride and power didn't seem to rival love's true face
The fiery insults and passionate hate grew into a fiery passion
Hogwarts Magic School and the rivalries within were erased
As scarlet and emerald were suddenly complementary as well as silver and flaxen
Every logic, every rule, every sense was abandoned
When cupid shot his arrow into lovers seemingly fated
As deep as their loath was, it cannot be changed what is destined
As Hermione and Draco's greatest love grew from their most hated
For love is blind
And it sees no consequences
