The Drum Major's New Girlfriend

Prologue:
The Drum Major's Point of view:
My name is Brett Walker and I have a crush on this one girl named, Michele. She is in pit, and I had a crush on her since band camp. Anyway, I'm going to try and ask her to homecoming.
"Will you shut-up, Aaron." I said as he looked at me like I was weird. "Your going to ask a Pit Girl out?" he said
"Yes, is that like a frigging problem?" I asked as he shook his head, "No!" said Aaron as we walked into the band room. She stood there in front of the band director's office talking with her friend. "Are you going to ask?" asked Aaron. "After class" I replied as Aaron shook his head and went over to his friends. I thought to myself, I'm going to ask her now as I went over to her. I tapped her on the shoulder.
"Hi, Brett." Said Michele
"Hi, Michele, I was umm wandering if you wanted to go to the dance with me?" I said she looked at me for a minute.
"Umm let me think, about it Brett, okay?" she said as she left and went to talk with her friends, I just stood there and thought to myself I'm never going to get a date to this stupid dance as she came up to me as the bell rang. "Yeah." She sad "Huh?" I said "I'm going to go with you to the dance." She replied "Neat" I said
"Well, I will see you later." Said Michele as I nodded and she left as Aaron came over, "So did you ask her?" he asked as I nodded.
