The slim redhead leaned against her friend as the last of the mourners left. She couldn't tear her dark brown eyes from the fresh grave in front of her, now the home of her beloved.

"Come on. We're leaving." She faintly heard a soft voice that tried to pull her away. She shook her head.

"I'll be there in a moment." She said softly, still staring down into the dark grave. Her friend nodded knowingly, tears in her eyes as she joined her husband at the car, her long brown hair frizzing in the humid air. He embraced her and the sat in the car to wait patiently.

The redhead kneeled at the grave, tears filling her dark eyes. "You died because of me." She started in a soft voice. "I will always love you. I'm sorry I failed." She said softly. She dropped a single, pure white rose into the grave.

A gentle wind blew past, fluttering her bright curls. A ghostly pair of arms wrapped around her in a last embrace from her dark-haired, emerald- eyed love.

"I forgive you."
