Note: The word "nigger" is referred to a few of times in this story. I will say all of this right now: I will not write the word out, I'll put n----r, because I know it can be a very offensive word. So I'm sorry for any problems, but I swear it will only come up about 3 or 4 times in the ENTIRE story total.
CHAPTER 1: The New Girl
Jimmy, Craig and Spinner were talking before the bell rang. About a minute before it rang, Paige walked in with a girl that the three boys had never seen before. She was about the same height as Paige and had chestnut brown hair that went about 5 inches below her shoulder. "Guys," Paige started, "this is Christina. She just got here today. Christina, this is Jimmy, that's Craig, and that's Spinner," she said as she pointed to each of the guys as she said their name. "Hey!" Christina said to all of them. They all raised their hands slightly, as if they were waving. Paige rolled her eyes. "So lazy," she muttered. No one noticed, but Jimmy smiled at Christina, who smiled back. Paige sat down and Christina took the seat in back of her.
At the end of the day, Christina headed to her locker to get rid of the books she didn't need and get the books she did need. Coincidentally, her locker was right next to Jimmy's. Jimmy approached his locker and started a conversation with Christina. When they were both packed up, Jimmy said, "Look, I know I haven't known you for very long, but I was wondering if you...uh...um..." Christina smiled. "Friday night's good," she said, unaware of the trauma that those three words would cause her.
