Its Never to Late to Start over Baby
By Washuladora
The stars sparkled so brightly with every twinkle. The breezy air made Ryoko's hair sway back and forth. Every breeze hitting Ryokos face making her tears fly into the atmoshpere. She had been on the roof for sometime now, and had not planed on moving. She felt her knees tighting up from sitting in the same position for so long. No matter how much she tried, she could not stop crying for she was stuck on the event that recently happen.
Tenchi had asked her to meet him outside for a talk. Ryoko had hoped that Tenchi would tell her that he had loved her, but she waited. In everyway Ryoko was scared. She knew that it was time for Tenchi to choose, he had been spending more time with both her and Ayeka. And now she would find out who would spend the rest of there life with Tenchi. She was so sure that it was going to be her. That changed soon as she heard the tone of Tenchi's voice. Tenchi had not really looked at her at all, and he talked really soft as if he was sad. His first sentence was "Ryoko i've choosen". Ryoko did nothin but wait for Tenchi to finish. "I choose Ayeka." Tenchi said now looking up in Ryoko's face. "I see, i'll leave." "No Ryoko, I don't want you to leave. You are my friend and I don't want to lose you." Tenchi said pleding with Ryoko. " I have to go", was all Ryoko said before vanishing.
Tenchi looking down at the ground, walked back into the masaki house.
Which led Ryoko to now. She didn't know how to deal with this. She loved Tenchi so much probably more than Ayeka. She just didn't know how to deal with heartbreak. So she did the best she could and cried. Ryoko so badly wanted to go inside but did not want to be near Tenchi and Ayeka. She felt the coldness for some reason get to her. She started to shiver with every breeze that hit her. "Ryoko". Ryoko turned to see washu standing behind her. "What do you want?"Ryoko asked. 'Come inside Ryoko." 'No I can't', Ryoko said with more tears coming down her face. Washu not wanting to start a fight considering what shape Ryoko was in, decided to sit down beside her. She stuck her had in a dimesional pocket and pulled out a quilt and put it around Ryoko's shoulders. Ryoko knew that she couldn't push Washu away considering she needed someone right now. Ryoko accepted the quilt and gave Washu a Thank you. Washu smiled. "Ryoko, you can't dwell on this forever, you just have to stand tall and start again. " Its to late to start over for me." Ryoko said. "No its not",Washu said giving Ryoko a little squeez on the shoulder. "Yes it is, someone like me could never have a normal life." Ryoko said looking into Washu's eyes. "Its never to late to start over baby. You just got to know where to start at." Washu took Ryoko's hand into her own. 'Everyone diserves a second chance. Tenchi may have choosen but that does not mean that you have to stop living your life. No matter what you think there are other guys just like Tenchi or even better. You just have to look." "For once I agree on something with you. Thanks Mom." "Im always here for you no matter what. I've always been here." Washu said getting up. " I know mom, I know. Ryoko said looking at the stars.
