In an ancient dawning day
The High Ones crashed and lost their way
And humans slew some and they lay
Stranded and alone.
We, their many children say
We shouldn't just be kept at bey
Our palace kept so far away
In a valley of stone.
Humans always thoughtless slay
Us elves would give a hopeful ray
In a dream of laugh and play
Of a peaceful zone.
The High Ones were all made to pay
By the humans, bold and fey
