"Thank you for meeting with me, Master Kenobi." The Chancellor says and shakes Obi-Wan with his gloved hand.

"Of course, Chancellor, it was a pleasure drinking tea and talking about whatever we talked about." Obi-Wan replies, because he really isn't sure what they were talking about, he only recalls drinking tea and hearing crickets chirp. Obi-Wan bows politely and then leaves the room.

"I did it, Dooku. I have killed Obi-Wan Kenobi." Sidious says, cackling, he looks at the comm and sees Dooku stare at him tiredly.

"Do you know what time it is in Serenno? It's 1 am in the morning!" Dooku complains.

"Stop crying like an infant, you're a Sith for Force's sake." Sidious scolds. "I am informing you that Kenobi will die soon!"

"And how have you planned it this time?" Dooku inquires.

"I have poisoned him. I slithered poison on my hand, that he wouldn't be able to detect." Sidious says and shows him his gloved hand.

"That's your grand plan, to put poison on your glove and have him touch it?" Dooku says, his eyebrows raised.

"No, my apprentice, he has already done it. It's only a matter of time now!" Sidious says and cackles once more. A flicker of concern comes over Dooku.

"Is that all, Master? I do need sleep in order to organize battle plans." Dooku complains.

"Yes, yes, I'm done. Enough with your whining." Sidious says and hangs up. Sidious looks at out his office window and smirks.

"Soon, all of this will be mine!" He cackles.

Yes, Dooku left the Jedi Order and yes, he did injure Obi-Wan and his padawan before, but now he has changed at least a little bit. He's not really a Sith, his eyes aren't even golden, he's just waiting for the right moment to strike and finally kill his "Master".

If he comms the Temple and tells them of the poison, then there is a chance he'll be found out, but darn the consequences, he isn't going to let his Grand-Padawan get killed by poison from a handshake. But he's not going to comm the Temple, he'll comm Jocasta, they talk every once in a while, anyway, secretly of course.

"My dear Dooku, how are you? Any luck with killing your "Master" yet?" Jocasta asks as she answers her comm.

"Not yet. But I'm afraid you'll have to contact Che and tell her to check on Obi-Wan, Sidious has poisoned him." Dooku informs and Jocasta gasps.

"Oh my! I'll get on that right away. Stay safe, Dear, love you." Jocasta says.

"Love you too, my darling." Dooku says and hangs up. Well, if he's caught, at least he said love you too his love.

"Palpatine better not have poisoned my son or so help me, Force, I will destroy him." Vokara mutters as she rushes to Obi-Wan's dorms. She knocks but doesn't receive an answer.

"Obi-Wan, it's Che, are you there?" Vokara shouts but doesn't receive an answer. She uses her healer code to bypass his security code and opens the door. She rushes into his room and gasps, as she spots Obi-Wan laying on the ground, shivering and pale.

"Oh, my Obi!" Vokara says and rushes to him. He's currently unconscious and that worries Vokara. She quickly checks his pulse and finds a weak one. She softly shakes his shoulder, and he wakes up, he looks at her with glazed-over eyes, confused.

"Mom." Obi-Wan mutters. Vokara looks at him worriedly and feels his head, he's burning up and clearly has a very high fever.

"You have to stay awake, okay, Obi? A med stretcher will be arriving soon." Vokara gently says and runs her hands through his hair.

"M'kay." Obi-Wan says. He starts to cough, and his breathing worsens, he's now wheezing as he tries to breathe.

"Shhh. It's okay, you're going to be okay." Vokara comforts him.

"Hurts." Obi-Wan whispers as he shuts his eyes in pain. "Can't breathe."

"I know, I know. They'll be here soon, I promise, and then we'll get you all better." Vokara says, tears forming in her eyes. Obi-Wan gasps for air once more and coughs up a warm red liquid.

Vokara suddenly hears the door open, and two healers quickly rush in with a med stretcher. She quickly moves out of the way as they lift him onto the stretcher, she rushes after them as they leave the room.

"Put him in the emergency room 12." Vokara orders one of the healers. "Don't touch his right hand, use gloves, and wipe it with a swab then test the substance on it, as soon as you find the type of poison, I want an antidote as fast as possible. Kenobi won't get any better without it." Vokara professionally commands.

She has no time to worry and be anxious, she has to be Healer Che right now. No emotions, emotions would cause her to mess up. And she can't afford that right now, especially when it's her son that might die.

"We identified the poison, it's called D'yomica. We're trying to make an antidote right now. We'll send it to you once it's done." Healer Kwan reports.

"Hurry, we need it as fast as possible." Vokara says as she looks at Obi-Wan. The only thing that is keeping him alive right now is the ventilator they had to use so he could breathe.

It's a few minutes later and Obi-Wan's pulse starts to drop alarmingly fast. As soon as she thinks it's all over, Padawan Micki comes and hands her the antidote quickly. She injects it into Obi-Wan's IV and prays to the Force that it works. It takes a few minutes, but his pulse starts to steady, and his breathing slows, letting the ventilator do its job.

"Thank the Force." Vokara mutters and drops by Obi-Wans bedside, physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted.

"Padawan Micki, inform Healer Yang that he can take the ventilator out of Kenobi once his breathing evens out." Vokara says and rushes to the lab.

"Did it work?" Healer Kwan worriedly asks.

"Yes, thank you." Vokara thanks him. "Do we have a vile of the poison that was used on Kenobi?"

"Yes, it's in our store where our poisons are, why?" Kwan asks, curious.

"I need to borrow some of it." Vokara states.

"I'm afraid that is off limits, Che." Kwan declares.

"I am the Head Healer, you are under me, I will borrow that vile and you will stay silent." Vokara commands. She walks into the storage room and grabs the vile then gets out of the room.

"I am enjoying the tea, Master Che, but might I ask why we are just drinking, not even talking?" Palpatine asks Vokara.

"I'm sorry, Chancellor, I just needed to clear my head, and from what I have heard from Skywalker, you are quite the friend." Vokara says.

"Well, I am sorry to hear that, please tell me, what is bothering you?" Palpatine asks, concern laced in his voice, oh how Vokara would love to just slap him right now, but sadly she has to wait.

"Someone tried to murder my son, he almost died but it worried me. And now I don't know what to do, I have so much anger inside that I can't release." Vokara confesses, half true. She already released the anger, a little bit, but it will go away once he's gone.

"I thought Jedi do not have children?" Palpatine asks, confused.

"Oh no, he isn't of my blood, but I'd like to say he is mine, he knows it too, he's practically adopted." Vokara says, a fond smile appearing on her face.

"That is horrible someone would try to murder your son, perhaps you should find the culprit and get your justice." Palpatine suggests.

"That's an excellent idea." Vokara says and stands up from her seat. "Thank you so much, Chancellor. I can see why Skywalker says you're a great friend." Vokara says smirking.

"So, you will seek out the culprit?" Palpatine asks, a bit surprised she agreed so easily.

"I will do so immediately. In fact, I might know where he is at the moment, so excuse me, Chancellor, I must take my leave." Vokara declares.

"Of course, it was a pleasure meeting you." The Chancellor says and shakes her gloved hand.

"A pleasure meeting you also." Vokara says and clasps her other gloved hand over his, she fakes a grateful look and Palpatine warmly smiles at her.

"Might I know your son's name?" Palpatine asks.

'His name is Obi-Wan Kenobi." Vokara says and releases his hands. Palpatine looks at her, his eyes wide in alarm. He looks at his hands and back up at her.

"No." Palpatine whispers as he drops to the floor. Why was the poison hitting him so fast?

A clone rushes in after hearing the crash and looks at the fallen Chancellor and Healer.

"What happened?" Boots asks.

'I don't know, he just collapsed. I'm a healer for the Temple, but you need to go get him a medic now." Vokara commands and the clone nods and leaves quickly. She kneels next to the prone Sith and smirks.

"The effects are happening quicker than I expected." Vokara says. "I used double the amount you used on my son." She says and shows him her two gloves.

"Why? It's not the Jedi way?" Sidious rasps out.

"Ha. I know it's not the Jedi way, but you are a Sith, so I don't really care." Vokara declares. "You dared to kill my son, I am only doing him "justice", Chancellor. Normally, the Council would come and apprehend you, but prison is too nice for you."

"And it's not only this one time that you tried to kill my son, Sidious. So of course, when I found out, I had to make sure that you were no longer and never will be a threat to him again." Vokara says, her voice low. "You're lucky he is not dead, or else your death would not have been so quick."

Sidious stares at her, and a huge part of him is scared of the menacing lady above him, oh sweet Force, take him now!

"Let this be a lesson to you, Sidious. Never mess with Obi-Wan or I will come, and I will destroy you, I don't care that you're a Sith, nothing compares to me when I am angry." Vokara growls, Sidious gasps trying to suck in breaths, but he's unable to.

"Looks like you don't have much time. No one's coming to save you and the medic will be too late. I hope the Force punishes you in the afterlife." Vokara states. "Bye Sheev." Vokara says, spitting out his last name as the old Sith finally passes away.

Boots comes back and rushes in with a medic, Vokara fakes tears and looks back at them sorrowfully. "I'm sorry, he's dead. I did everything I could." Vokara says and hangs her head low, she fakes a grimace but, in her head, she's celebrating.

"Is he awake yet?" Vokara asks as she enters the med-bay.

"No, but he's slowly coming back to consciousness." Padawan Micki reports.

"Thank you, you may go back to your studies, Padawan." Vokara says and then rushes to Obi-Wan's room. She quickly sits down beside him and curls his long hair in her hands, as a mother would do to her child.

Obi-Wan slowly wakes up and looks at her, confused and oblivious to the recent events. "Mom?"

"Yes, Obi?" Vokara asks.

"What happened?" Obi-Wan asks, his brain fuzzy.

"One of the Separatists hurt you, but don't worry, he'll never bother you again." Vokara declares. Normally, that would raise alarms in Obi-Wan's head, but his brain is all fuzzy right now so he just nods.

"Now just go back to sleep, you need rest, my son." Vokara assures him.

"Okay, love you." Obi-Wan mumbles then slowly fall asleep.

"And I love you dearly, my Obi." Vokara whispers. She grabs his hand, her gloves off of course, and soothes him as he sleeps, as a mother would do to her sick child. Because that's what she is, a mother, and Obi-Wan is her child.

"Tell her should we, that whole thing on camera, it was?" Yoda asks as they finish watching the security camera from the Chancellor's Office.

"NO! Are you crazy?! Do you want to deal with a crazy, overprotective mother Che? I sure as Sith don't!" Mace says as he turns to Boots.

"Delete the footage, clear Healer Che from the records and footage of ever entering the building, and you and the medic must not tell anyone, all right?" Mace commands.

'Yes, Sir! I won't tell anyone; he was a bad Chancellor anyway." Boots says and leaves.

"Still funny, I think this was." Yoda states.

'Of course, you think its funny, troll."
