Chapter 1 - Destiny
Hitomi was sitting on her bed and thinking about her life.
She grew up in a rich European family. Almost all her childhood she spent in huge old castle somewhere in England. Her grandmamma often told her different stories about mystic worlds, demons and vampires. She listened to these tales and read strange books belonging to her grandmamma. Hitomi often heard how her parents and grandmamma spoke about her destiny.
When she was almost 18 years old and was out with some friends on a holiday she found a letter in her hotel room. In the letter it was written that her grandmamma was dying. Hitomi quickly went to England to see her grandmamma. When at last she reached the castle she was surprised to find that house was completely empty and lonesome. Searching all through the house she found another letter. This one was from her mother and it said that Hitomi had uncommon abilities and that she had to quickly go to Fanelia where somebody would be waiting for her. Hitomi took nothing with her but some money and headed immediately for Fanelia.
Soon after she reached her destination, Hitomi was approached by a man who indroduced himself as Van Slanzer. . Mistique found out from him that her destiny was to help fight the coming evil.
"I just want to be happy again..." said aloud Hitomi.
"Really?" asked Van who suddenly appeared from nowhere.
"Yes" she answered
He studied her before replying " You are still very childish Hitomi"
"Really?" Hitomi said angrily.
Van smiled slightly "Yes, and now get some sleep" said and went to his room.
"I hate him, I really do... I hate him...I..." repeated Hitomi and drifted off to sleep.
