Tommy was so upset that he had to ride with his stupid older cousin.
Everyone at school already hated Angelica because she was her bossy self.
He doesn't even want to be seen with her but of course he has to. Didi
won't even allow him to ride the bus because she is afraid that he might
get into a fight with some of the older kids. When they arrived Tommy
rushed out of the van and took Dil with him.
Tommy (T)- "Dil hurry up! I don't want my friends to see me with Angelica."
Dil (D)- "I'm coming, but where will I go?'
T- Go find your friends. Don't you want to find Leslie?
D- How do you know about Leslie? Only Nathaniel knows how much I love her.
T- Well you shouldn't leave your notebooks lying around. Especially when her name is all over them with hearts.
Angelica gets out of the car and is extremely upset.
Angelica (A)- Tommy Pickles! What have I told you about leaving your things in my car? The next time I find any of your school books in my car and your not in it with them I will throw them away! My car will not be used as a locker! Am I understood?
T- yes
A- That's what I thought.
T- Dil, I'm going to go find Lillian. We usually meet in the band room. Do you want to come? Afterwards I can help you find Leslie.
D- Thanks a lot. I'm glad I have a big brother. I never used to think you would help me with my girl troubles but ever since you were in the seventh grade when you and Lil started dating you.
T- HEY! She does NOT like to be called Lil while we are at school. Her name is Lillian. It's more sophisticated and way more sexy.
D- You may be my older bro but please don't talk about one of my best friends like that. I know you are in love with her but I still think that is nasty.
T- if you think that is nasty you should see us in the mornings when we are making out.
D- I thought kissing was against school rules and you were only allowed to hold hands.
T- I know but you just have to know how to get away with it. They get to the band room and put their instruments in their proper places.
Tommy plays the trumpet. Dil plays the tuba. Chuckie plays the guitar and when he does he is so sexy. Chuckie is hot to begin with but guitars make anyone sexy. Lil plays the flute and Kimi plays the clarinet. Phil plays the trombone. Susie plays the snare drum. Angelica even plays the French horn except during marching band when she plays the mellophone.
