The killing machine opened its' mouth and asked in a child's voice, "mama?'
Kel sat up in bed. Glad to be away from the horrible memories. It's been months after she getting back from killing Blyce and stunmad. They still haunted her dreams. Kel looked out her windows, a little after dawn. She got up knowing that new hope would be awake in a matter of minutes. Kel was just finishing her glaive dance when her door burst opened and Nealen of Queens love came in. "Come on Kel, we're leaving in an hour," Neal had an impatient look on his face.
"Hurry up!" Neal said while he walked out and slammed the door.
1 day later15 mins. laterOne Hour Later
Kel woke up to feel Joren's hand tickle her breast. Kel smiled and couldn't help stop the giggle that wanted to escape. Joren smiled and leaned down to kiss her. "How long have you been back?" Kel asked Joren replied after a pause.."three weeks, in two weeks I'm going to go back to the boarder" kel burrowed deep in joren's embrace. They were so engrossed with each other that they jumped when someone knocked at the door.
"OH MY GOD THEY CAN'T SEE ME!" cried Kel in panic. "Hide under the covers and I'll go see who's at the door." Joren said over his shoulder. Kel slid under the covers.
"What?" growled Joren opening the door. A messenger handed a message. Joren closed the door. Kel came out from under the covers. Joren opened the letter:
Dear Soon.
We have decided that it's time you marry. We hope you understand. You need to pick before the next midwinter.
