Chapter One: We're In Control

Lucas took her hand, not knowing if she was willing to jump into a small world of insanity, which could give both of them a moment of happiness. Peyton left knowing that Lucas liked Brooke more. Leaving him alone was best for everyone. Haley and Nathan were together; they too had found a connection, having a lot of tutoring sessions soon revealed their plans as tutoring became dates. This took a lot of willpower, admitting that their feelings were more real than anyone would especially think. They have tried keeping their feelings for eachother a secret but Peyton had seen it before they had admitted it to themselves. As Peyton realized they were falling in love, she told herself to let Nathan go. Maybe it was fate, but everyone seemed paired together, and that suited her; for maybe it was the best thing at first. Afterall, everything that Peyton thought she had found was not what she had really wanted. Nathan loved the relationship Haley and he had. It couldn't be touched, and nobody liked the fact that he chose to jump into a relationship. Lucas wasn't ready for it either, but he realized how he and Brooke were also meant to go ahead and pursue their attraction for one another. It's weird- one day Brooke was a stranger and then the next day he was totally amazed at how she became the epitome of an angel. Lucas smiled.
