He didn't know why he did it.
Couldn't understand why he dragged her to a deserted room, perhaps it was her hair. As red and fiery has her spirit, or maybe all the years of taunting caused some unknown desire to build within him.
Maybe it was lust.
Maybe it was love.
Maybe it was a thousand things but it didn't matter, for this moment was all they had. Hidden in the shadows of the room, minutes passed by faster then one's childhood.
He was surprised she hadn't hexed him.
He placed his finger beneath her chin and gently tipped her head back. Ignoring the millions of doubts that flooded his mind, he brought his head down toward hers until their lips touched. It was the sweetest kiss either of them had ever and would ever receive. She wrapped her arms around his neck.
The moment seemed forbidden and right all at the same time. No longer was he a Slytherin and she a Gryffindor. He felt some sort of sick pleasure in knowing he was standing in an old classroom sharing the sweetest kiss with his greatest enemy's girlfriend. He knew he shouldn't, he knew he should pull away, but he wouldn't, not until she did at least.
It ended quickly and almost too soon she was pulling away, physically and mentally.
He wanted to beg her to stay, but his pride stood in the way, so Draco watched her as she fled the room knowing the kiss would be forgotten. They were back to being enemies once again.
