~Dad, Look at me. Think back and talk to me
Did I grow up according to plan?~
Kai Walked toward the training room where his team was. He was
thinking about when he was little, his grandfather had a plan about the way
he would grow up.
~And do you think I'm wasting my time.
Doing things I want to do. But it hurt when you disapproved. All along~
Voltaire always thought the Bladebreakers were a disgrace and a waste
of time, and that hurt Kai. He was actually starting to like them. Rei was
nice, and tolerable. Max was hyper sometimes, but a good kid. Kenny was
alright, but to smart for his own good. And Tyson was; well, Tyson.
~And now I try so hard to make it.
I just want to make you Proud.
Never going to be good enough for you~
((Kai's POV))
I was never good enough for him. He was always so strict and cruel.
When I reached the door, I heard Tyson's voice
((Normal POV))
"Oh! Where's Mr. Sourpuss NOW!?" Tyson said loudly. "Yeah, he was
supposed to be here" Max agreed. "For once, they ARE right," Kenny said.
"Oh, c'mon guys! You know Kai's lurking somewhere watching to see if we
started training on our own," Rei said. He was always the good one. "Sure!
Mr. I'm-So-Perfect ISN'T perfect! I am even a better Blader than HIM! And
he's a no good friend!" Tyson said, and the others agreed, besides Rei.
~Nothing's gonna change the things that you said
Nothing's gonna make it right again~
((Rei's POV))
I glanced at the door only to see Kai's sad face. He turned, and left,
face sad. 'Ut-oh. I think Kai heard him' I thought.
((Night time, Normal POV))
The Bladebreakers walked into their hotel room, and noticed that
something was missing. Then they saw it. All of Kai's stuff was gone. "Hey.
Where's Kai's stuff?" Tyson asked. The rest shrugged. "What's this?" Kenny
said, noticing a letter on the bed. Rei walked over and picked it up. "I
think it's a note. I'll read it" He said, and cleared his throat.
"Bladebreakers,
I am sorry I haven't been the best friend there is. I
have betrayed you before, and I cannot live with it. You are al better
bladers than me. I'm sorry, But I'm not perfect. Sincerely,
Kai Hiwatari" He read. He gulped. "Kai's
gone. Tyson, I think he heard what you said earlier." Tyson looked down.
"I'm sorry" he said quietly.
~Now It's just to late.
And we can't go back I'm Sorry I can't be Perfect~
They all looked downwards, each thinking of the things Kai had done
for them. In Beyblading, and in life. Then they thought of the last lines
of the letter.
~I'm sorry I can't be Perfect~
