AN: 'Ello! Witness Zephdae's brilliant return with her first SOUE fic! She's writing it in about 20 minutes in her lit. mag. class at school today. Even though she should be filling in random numbers on her chemistry homework so she gets credit for it because her stupid teacher grades on COMPLETION and completely disregards ACCURACY. Also she has a test today and has no clue what is on it. Something about ionization and electron affinity. But she she should probably shut up now so she has time to write the fic. And, by the way, she has no clue what it is going to be about.

Disclaimer: SOUE belongs to Daniel Handl - I mean, LEMONY SNICKET. (wink wink)

Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire were sitting randomly under a tree in the Forlorn Forest. They didn't really know what they were doing there, but that's okay because fanfiction doesn't actually have to make sense.

Klaus looked up and frowned. "Um, what are we doing here?" he asked in some understandable confusion.

"I don't know," said Violet, as understandably confused as Klaus.

"Gleba!" exclaimed Sunny, using a word that is defined as "the soft inner filling of certain fungi," but which in this case probably means something more along the lines of, "I must also concede that I have no idea what it going on."

"Oh well," said Klaus, leaning back against the tree and shrugging unconcernedly. "At least there's no Olaf. As far as I'm concerned, anywhere he's not is good enough for me."

"Klaus is right," Violet agreed. "And I bet I can make an invention that will help us survive out here. I can reinvent fire so we can cook food!"

"I think I remember reading a book about surviving when you randomly find yourself sitting in a forest and don't remember how you got there," Klaus said thoughtfully. "The most important rule was, if you run out of food and have to cook one of your siblings on a fire your sister reinvented, remember to roast them slowly and chew each mouthful at least twenty times."

"That's good to know," said Violet.

"Yecca!" said Sunny, meaning "I seem to remember once biting a stick. There are many sticks around here for me to bite, so I should be perfectly happy."

"That's right, Sunny," said Violet. "There's no reason we can't live perfectly full and happy lives right here in this rather dismal-looking forest. I'm feeling full and happy right now."

"Me too," Klaus agreed.

"Ditto!" Sunny cried, using an expression which here means, "I also concur."

So the Baudelaires lived out the rest of their lives feeling oxymoronically full and happy in the Forlorn Forest. The end.
