Chapter 1
The Beginning of the Romance
(Lizzie's POV)
"Lizzie," Gordo yelled out when she walked out of her house to go to the bus stop.
"What are you doing here, you never meet me on the way to the bus stop?" I asked. He must have something really important to tell me. I hope it's not bad; please say it's not bad. "Do you need to tell me something?"
"Actually, I do, but not right now. I just had to see you." Gordo said
"Hey, Gordo," Miranda said when they got there. Pretending Lizzie wasn't there.
"Hey" Gordo replied.
What, ok, she's MY best friend, why is she ignoring me now. I spent two hours last night talking to her because she thought her parents were the worst parents in the world and now she's ignoring me? What is wrong with her?
"Gordo, there's something I want to tell you, in private, lets go somewhere where Lizzie isn't, it's really important," Miranda said implying for Lizzie to just go away.
"No," I said yanking him away, "He came to my house to tell me something, and you're being really mean right now, why should anyone want to talk to you right now?
"It's ok, I'll be right back." He said as I pulled him away.
I don't want him talking to her; I have to keep him here. So I said "Wait, you can go talk to her after I do this," Then I kissed him hoping that it would put him in so much shock he won't know what to say or do.
"What was that for?" He asked surprisingly as the bus pulled up.
"Sit with me on the bus and I'll tell you," I simply said.

(Miranda's POV)
Lizzie is being so annoying, I mean last night she told me that I shouldn't worry about my parents, and that they're just doing what's best for me. That's NOT what I wanted to hear. Then I was going to talk to Gordo about it and she won't let him. She's not his boss and he can do whatever he wants. I don't know why she kissed him either. YUCK!!
-------------- (Gordo's POV)
I wonder what Miranda was trying to say to me. And I don't know what's wrong with Lizzie; maybe she knows something I don't, so she's being over- protective with letting me talk to Miranda. She and Miranda seem like they had a fight or something. I love Lizzie but I don't like how she won't let me hear what Miranda has to say. I especially loved how she kissed me. I've liked her since I first laid eyes on her I just can't seem to tell her that. Maybe she feels the same way about me, or maybe that was her last option to keep me away from Miranda.
"Gordo, Come on, don't just stand there, come sit down!" Lizzie said when it looked like he was too much into his thoughts to realize what was happening.
"What's going on with you, about when --
"It doesn't matter, just listen to me --- she quickly interrupted him, as she got interrupted herself.
"Lizzie, I love you," I finally said, closing my eyes not wanting to see what her reaction would be.
"What?!" Lizzie asked shocked.
