Chapter 1 - Getting started
"Hurry up, they're going to be here in less than an hour" lily yelled downstairs to her girlfriends. "ok, ok, keep your pants on, we'll be there in a sec." Anna exclaimed, "come on, the sooner we help her prepare for the party, the more time we have for getting ourselves ready". "Yeah, it'll take a least an hour for to put your face on," said Alex sarcastically. "Aha, whatever Alex"
"So Lily, where would you like us to start?" asked Lucy "shall we begin with the pumpkin decorations, or maybe these......what are these things again Lily?"
"That's to make spider webs around the house, dumb ass, we won't do that until last" "Ohh, this Halloween theme is going to be so cool. But what am I meant to wear? What a dilemma" said Anna.
At that very moment there was a knock at the door. All 4 of the girls bolted to window to get a glimpse of who it was.
"Oh my God, it's Sirus, James and Simon, they are soo early.........RUN"yelled Alex.
All of the girls sprinted to the bedrooms and started getting dressed leaving Lily to sort out the early comers. She peered out the door, trying to reveal as little as possible, and whispered.
"Hi, your a bit early, can you just walk around the block or something until we are ready.
"Oh man," Sirus said "how long does it take, fine, we'll be back in 20"
Lily closed the door with a sigh of relief before running to her bedroom to get ready.
Meanwhile, the others girls were in a frieze about what to wear, doing their hair and makeup.
"Ok, who stole my mascara", "Where the heal did I put my brush" " Why do these boys need to be so bloody early"!
The girls were still in a panic 10 minuets later, when they heard yet another knock on the door.
"Oh, just piss off boys, we said 20 minutes" There was another knock. Lily had had enough
She opened the door and yelled, "Ok guys, what the hell.........oh hi Mr. Miller, what a lovely surprise"
"Lily James, what do you think you are doing! Where are your parents? Well, I'll be hoping that that will not be happening again. When your parents come back can you ell them "
And with that Mr. Miller, a close neighbour, strutted out of their front yard across the road, leaving Lily in stress mode.
"Don't worry Lily, we'll sort that out later, for now, lets crank up the music and get the party going" Alex said in an unusually comforting way.
"Ok, I'm done, how to I look?" Anna asked.
"Well, we are meant to be scary, you've done a good job, not as good as Lucy though" Alex joked.
"ALEX, I haven't even started getting ready?" Lucy said
"Exactly, you don't need to do anything," Alex said laughing. "Haha, good one Alex, but hurry up, the boys will be here any minute now" Lily replied.
As the girls were finishing up in the bedrooms, and doing all the final touches, there was a knock at the door.
The boys had arrived and finally everyone was ready for the party to start.
