The time has come
I knew it would
No way to avoid it
No one could
Many new friends
Close to my heart
Only "the end"
Could tear us apart
Very few times
Did I wish it were done
Even in heat and cold
It was my kind of fun
And now, only after
Two months, maybe three
"The end" has arrived
And it's plain to see
That while it is now "over"
Another season will start
Then the love of the music
Will return to my heart
