DISCLAIMER: I do not own Soul Calibur 2. wait, yes I do. But I don't own it
in as intellectual property. Please don't sue.
NON-LEGAL STUFF: To be honest, I'm not really sure where this came from. I
guess when I can't sleep at night; it lets my brain think like this. Now,
as much as I want to see you review, let me tell you now this isn't good.
This is letting out feelings, and this is letting those feelings be known.
Anyway, this "poem" (to be honest, I'm not even sure it follows iambic
pentameter, let alone rhymes) looks into the thoughts of Nightmare, or
rather Siegfried, the tortured soul within the demonic knight. Nightmare's
thoughts seem to center entirely on the harvesting of souls, and I'm not
sure that makes for good subject matter. Well, anyway, enjoy. or read it at
least. You didn't click on this link with no intention of reading it, did
you?

Ask any man what he would wish for, and what would he say?
Is it wealth?
Power?
Immortality?
Knowledge?
What good comes from such foolish desire?
I asked for power.
It was given to me.
I asked for knowledge.
It was given to me.
I asked for the means to an end.
It was given to me.
Now I may kill without fear,
No earthly power can stop me.
That is power.
Now I know who murdered my father,
And it was I.
That is knowledge.
Now my wishes can be complete,
The dead serve to empower me.
That is my means.
I asked to give it all back.
It was denied me.
