The New Beginning
On a fall morning, in the middle of Inuyasha forest, there is a very big hut with smoke bellowing out the top of the roof. It was a cold morning and Inuyasha and Kagome were bundled up tightly under the dozens of blankets that Kagome had brought back from her own time. Kagome suddenly sat up from her nightmare and began to stare at Inuyasha's closed eyes. With a simple smile she laid back down and cuddled closer to him.
About half an hour after Kagome had fallen back asleep, Inuyasha awoke to the scent of a near by demon. Without a second thought Inuyasha carefully jumped out of bed as to not wake Kagome. He followed the secent not knowing where it would take him, running almost as fast as he could. With in a brief second Inuyasha realized that the scent was receding from his youngest childs room. He began to run faster not knowing if a demon was devoiring his youngest child. He tried to stop before he reached the door but he was running to fast and couldn't stop in time. He slid right into the doorway and looked into the room. He immediatly looked at the crib by the window. He noticed movement by the end of the crib, so he instantly looked for his crying baby. And saw what seemed to be a child. Who appeared to be only a few years older than his 5 year old daughter. "Who the hell are you, what are you doing here" Inuyasha yelled. "That is none of your concern" the child like demon growled. As he jumped out the window with Inuyasha's baby.
Kagome wakes up feels around for Inuyasha. She opens her eyes becuase she can't find him, just then she heares a sleepy voice. She rolls over to find her daughter standing there crying. "Yatsumi what's wrong, what is it" Kagome said tiredly. "Mommy daddy's fighting the demon that took baby Isami, and that demon scared me when he looked at me, he was thinking she's next to go." She said inbetween whimpers. "WHAT" she said as she jumped out of bed and ran to the front door. When she got out there she found Inuyasha fighting a dragon like demon. Kagome ran outside just in time to see Inuyasha behead the demon, which was holding the baby in its mouth. Just then Kagome noticed movement in the nearby bushes. She saw something take aim for her daughter Yatsumi. So Kagome jumped in the way to protect her child.
