Title: All Torn Down

Sumary: A little fluffy piece. Trinity finally admits how she feels.

A/N: After seeing The Matrix Revolutions for the second time I decided to write something because I was bored. I was listening to The Living End when I wrote this so that explains the title. :)

Disclaimer: Not mine. Don't sue. I want to own Trinity though, not that its ever going to happen. Damn…

She had finally admitted how she felt.

Had he even heard her?

She wasn't one to show emotions, preferring to keep them stored deep down inside. Her self-control was the only thing that stopped her from snapping like a rubber band when stretched too far.

But when she heard the flatline sound on the monitors, she knew she had to tell him.

She had tried before, but it never really seemed like the right time.

She couldn't explain how she knew this time was different or why it was.

Everytime she was around him, she felt as though each of her many walls was being torn down revealing the woman inside.

Not the warrior who never let emotion intefere with work, who always kept feelings, emotions and thoughts locked away deep down inside with the key hidden, never to be found.

She couldn't explain it, but with Neo she felt diiferent. She could feel it. From the first time they met at that seedy S and M club, the closeness they shared, the bond they had before getting to know each other. Then that time on the rooftop after he had rescued her from the helicopter as it crashedinto the building and exploded sending shards of glass, smoke and flames all around them. As they stood on the rooftop, she looked into his eyes, those two deep brown orbs, for a brief moment she could see the care, the concern and that something else she couldn't quite put a finger on cloud his vision.

It was at the moment she realised he was the One, maybe deep down inside, she knew it all along, but it was in that moment that she knew it was true. She could only deny something for so long.

She tried to tell him how she felt in the train station, but it wasn't the right time, she didn't know why she had told him when she did. Maybe it was because this seemed like the last chance to tell him. She hadn't told anyone what the Oracle had said to her but know he knew, she was certain that he heard her confessing…admitting how she felt.

She was still unsure wether she had done the right thing. Plagued by worry. Would he love her back, was she being dellusional? Maybe it was all in her head like the Matrix. Emotions clouded a persons judgement, made a person stray form the point, miss what was really important, miss the bigger picture.

She shook herself from her thoughts and sensed movement under her. It was then that she noticed that the EMP had been triggered, the sentinel lay nearby and Neo was awake, he hadn't died.

She turned back to him and looked into his eyes for God know's how many times that day. Reading his expression, she could tell that he wasn't surprised to see her hovering over him.

She knew he had heard him. The way he was looking at her gave it all away. His eyes opened a gate of emotions inside of her.

She brushed her knuckles against his smooth skin never taking her eyes off his.

Lips met lips and an eternal pact was sealed.

He loved her, she loved him.

The prophecy foretold that she would fallin love with the One but she hadn't fallen in love with the One. She had fallen in love with Neo. The one person who could tear down all of those walls and find the caring, loving and devoted woman inside.

She understood it all know. Emotions didn't make a person weak, the made them stronger. Her love for Neo bought him back, resurrected him, made him become the One and for that she was eternally grateful.
