Wink stepped off da cart, into a puddle. 'Damn,' he tought to his self.
Da pourin rain came down on da city, and he walked slwoly back ta da lodgin
house. SPLASH!
"DAMN DOSE CAHTS!" he yelled. He stepped into da house, and looked around. Great. It was filled wit da leppahs.
"YOU MANIACS! Ya made a monkey outta me." He sighed. He stepped ovah da sickies, and da loose body pahts. Flippin da old man a coin, he walked inta da back a da joint. Mush was sittin on da edge o' da table, wearin pants and suspenders. Wink went ovah to Jacky boy.
"Jack," he muttahed. "Where be da goils tonight?"
"Out," said Mush, wearin now only a loincloth. "Dey got business to take care of." 'Damnit,' Wink thought. 'Evah since dem goils got in on da big crime ring, dey been coppin gangstas and shootin up da big joints fo cash. Also, dey been sellin crack.' Mush jumped up, now wearin his birthday suit.
"Look, ol boy. Dey be gettin home early tonight. Deys only doin a small job tonight."
"Sure," muttahed Jacky boy, starin at da floor. "Dey's becomin big time lootahs. Deys gonna get demselves killed, they is."
"SHUT UP!" Screamed Crutchy, crawlin on da floor, amidst da dead bodies and bags of smack. "Dos goils gonna bring me back a new crutch!" Evah since dey'd broken de old one ovah his head for bein so friggin annoyin, he'd had to resort to quadroped like behaviah.
"I can't take dis no mo! Screamed Wink, dropkickin Crutchy and steppin ovah his limp body. Crutchy snorted, his voice muffled by da leppah to his right.
"Don't worry," Wink assured Mush, who was now collectin dollahs in his mouth from the leppahs who still had arms. "Dat bastahd nevah dies." SLAM! The door opened, and da goils appeared, soppin wet in da doorway.
"OO OO!" Some a da newsies rushed ovah. "Lemme help you wit ya coat!"
"Heah, deah." Stalkah gave Net a big load o' cash, and her hat. "Take dat to me room, iukwim." De oddah newsies all went 'oooo' and she clobbed a few a dem ovah deh heads wit a tommy gun.
"Watch it!" She snapped, and followed Net up da steps to his bunk bed. He had top bunk, he been movin up in da woild. "Cause I don't like to waste me bullets." Stalkah said.to no one in particular. Lola walked past Mush, who was now dancin on da desk, his hands full a cash.
"Heah ya are, sweetness...i get dis fo you."
"DUDE!" Yelled Wink. "You speak English?"
"Yeah, ya dumb shiyat. Ya just been too busy da notice." Wink winked at her.
