Little Twins
Soi laughed with glee as she skipped around in the palace. What a wonderful day!, she thought, and started singing:
"Two little twinsies sitting in a tree,
K - I - S - S - I - N - G!!!"
She ran up to Yui, pulled a face and said "Told you so! Ooooh, you were all for resurrecting Amiboshi, that would heal your little darling's heart wouldn't it? Well, I've got news for you girl, it ain't brotherly love you've got there!" Soi thrust out an arm, indicating towards the open window. "See? Honey, just face it willya. You were only a distraction until he found a way to get his brother back! Didn't you know he was into yaoi?" Soi continued up the hallway as carefree as before, happy to have ruined yet another person's day.
Yui collapsed into a devastated bundle on the floor, hoping that Nakago would appear with a deidu or something, just like he always used to. But Nakago didn't. He never did anymore, not after the whole priestess thing was over. In fact, he seemed a bit let down when Yui didn't die or get back to her own world, as the prophesies had promised. Now he was stuck with a bunch of seishi and a simpering priestess who was no good to anyone. Soi was nice to have around, and Suboshi and Amiboshi were. useful. Good riddance to the others!
Meanwhile, in the garden, Suboshi played with his yo-yo-thingos, trying to make them move to the music of Amiboshis flute. In the end he gave up, and just sat listening to his brother. Slowly, Amiboshi let the tune fade whilst slipping closer towards Suboshi. The music stopped and things were just heating up when Yui came running, hitting them over the heads with a broom, yelling something about treachery and cheating. Like one person the twins jumped on her and literally beat the stuffing out of her, yelling something about privacy. There was a flash of blue light, and she was gone.
"No, I swear! The little twinsies made her disappear! WE'RE FREE OF HER!" In a matter of seconds the word was all over the palace, soon seeping out into the rest of the country: The priestess has decided to return to her own noble realm after much consideration.
