Title: Ready for Action: A Sydney and Sark fic told in Haiku form
Author: Liquid Thalassa
E-Mail: liquidthalassa@yahoo.com
Spoilers: None
Disclaimer: None, this is *mine*. There's no mention of Sydney, Sark or
anyone affiliated with Alias- it's only implied.
Rating: PG- references to adult themes
Pairing: Sydney/Sark
*Author's Note: Hello, this is my first Alias fanfic- well poetry-fic! So
any feedback is appreciated. Also this is a poem told in multiple Haiku
form (5-7-5 syllables) so it's meant to be "choppy" and open. It leaves
some to the imagination and it's supposed to be fragmented. Anyways, I hope
everyone enjoys it. I'm a little nervous!!
HERE IT IS:
1.
He's across from her
Sitting smug and nonchalant,
Staring off in space
2.
She tries to read him
But she can't-at least not now
He controls the game
3.
Ice blue eyes meet hers
There is no emotion there
They just mirror her own
4.
She wonders if he
Can see the passion in hers:
Flames dancing wild
5.
He smiles at her
And touches her ivory cheek
Feeling her shiver
6.
She wants to have more
To have him, to be with him-
This need is so strong
7.
He licks at his lips
Imagining how she tastes -
He needs to kiss her
8.
Her lashes flutter
Her breathing nonexistent-
Anticipating
9.
He leans closer now
Aware of people watching
Not giving a damn
10.
They are connected
The two melding into one
Electricity
11.
The world disappears
He opens his mouth deeper
Giving her control
12.
She claws at his back
Needing to feel his warm skin
Beneath her fingers
13.
He breaks the embrace
Looking deep into her eyes
And lets out a sigh
14.
So wild; beautiful
He asks: "Are you sure of this?"
She kisses his cheek
15.
She leans towards his ear
And whispers: "Why would I not?"
He doesn't answer
16.
But he thinks of it:
*Because I am a killer
And your an Angel*
17.
She kisses his lips
Feverishly, greedily
Relishing his taste
18.
-Like vintage red wine.
He pauses and takes a breath:
"Let's go somewhere else."
20.
She nods and rises
The two enter the hotel
Ready for action
***A/N 2: Let me know your thoughts. Hopefully they're good! But I'll take
bad ones- I did just start writing Haikus and even though I've read almost
every Syd-Sark story there is I haven't written one-until now. Thanks
either way.
