A/N: I'm writing the beginning to this story cause I got nuthin better to do. Though this story is about Link's father and mother (who are not royal here). I believe that Link is the prince (making the king his father), but hey that's just me.

Onyar shut his eyes tightly as he was shoved onto the wooden deck. The man behind him shoved him with his spear butt, nearly knocking Onyar on his face. The other men laughed loudly at the slave as he attempted to regain his balance.

So, thin' it funny ter throw yer food at us eh? Asked a man dressed in fine, mostly blue, clothing, who had just strode up to Onyar. The captain. Onyar opened his crystal blue eyes as his head shot up to look straight into the captain's eyes, his gaze fierce, piercing. He stayed completely silent.

Well... ow bouts no more eats fer the res' of our trip soun' to ye? The captain crossed his large arms over his chest, grinning crookedly. Onyar's eyes narrowed, but he still said nothing. Bu' ... alas we can't do that can we mates? He asked his crew, they just murmured softly.

Tha' new army they gots ta have them slaves. The captain kicked Onyar fiercely in the stomach, making him grunt and bend over, breaking the hateful glare. With a flick of his wrist, the captain had his saber in hand. The blade was pressed to Onyar's neck, slowly cutting deeper and deeper into his skin.

When blood had slowly dripped out onto the blade, the crew started to cheer their captain. Onyar bit his lip, holding back the scream that was bursting to get out. The captain smiled as he saw his slave holding back his screams of pain. He lifted his sword and sliced heavily across the place he had cut before, making an x.

Onyar screamed as the blade bit into him, he clenched his hands into tight balls, his wrists straining against the rope. He screamed for all the world to hear. Alrigh' take im back to the dungeons now... urry along!

The crew grabbed Onyar roughly by the cloth he had left of a shirt and drug him down the steps back into the dank and dirty depths of the slave quarters. All the soft talking of the slaves had ceased when they threw the blond man back into his cell. Before he heard another sound, he passed out, his head hitting the damp wooden boards.

The sounds of battle echoed everywhere in the forest, thought Aylia had left it long ago. She gasped for air as she rushed through the trees, avoiding them as best she could. She had to escape it, she had to find her family.

She had ran, when her brother was slain before her eyes. His father's sword still clutched in his hands. He was only still a boy, he had so much to live for. Aylia's eyes filled with tears, Hyrule would be safe enough... the world would be back to normal soon. She could only hope, the odds against them seemed unreal.

Before she could take another step, she fell. Half tripping, have collapsing from fatigue. She stopped completely, not moving. If her back hadn't been slightly rising and falling she could have been taken for dead.

The soft sound of hooves made her stir slightly. The girl gazed wearily upwards to see an enemy soldier, she groaned as he shoved a bag over her head and threw her onto the back of his horse, grinning to himself. She fainted before she had a chance to struggle her way out of the bag.

A/N: Sorry it's so short. I will write more if I decide to continue it. I'll continue if you guys will review it and tell me what you like or for me to improve on. Thanks.
